Privacy

Nemesis Rift is a player-run RuneScape 3 clan site. We keep as little about you as we can get away with, and this page explains all of it in plain language.

What we collect

  • Your email address, used for signing in and for account emails.
  • Your RuneScape name (RSN) and clan rank, shown to other approved members.
  • Anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a bio or avatar image.
  • Clan activity you create on the site: event sign-ups, news comments, shout-outs and logged drops.
  • Publicly available RuneScape hiscores data for your RSN, fetched from Jagex to show your skills.

Why we collect it

  • To run the clan: approving members, organising events, tracking attendance and celebrating achievements.
  • To let officers verify that an applicant is a real RuneScape player before approving them.
  • To send account-related emails such as the application confirmation and password resets. We don't send marketing.

Who can see it

  • Signed-out visitors see only public pages — Home, About, Events and Join Us.
  • Approved members see the member roster, leaderboards and community pages.
  • Clan leadership can see member emails and approval status in order to administer accounts.
  • We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. It is stored with our hosting and backend providers purely so the site can run.

How long we keep it

  • Your account data is kept while you're a member of the clan.
  • If you leave or ask us to remove you, we delete your account, profile and personal details.
  • Content that belongs to clan history — such as event records or news posts you wrote — may be kept without your name attached.

Your choices

  • You can edit or clear most profile details yourself from your profile page.
  • You can hide your RuneScape stats from other members with the profile privacy toggle.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion by emailing nemrift@gmail.com. We'll action deletion requests as soon as we reasonably can.

Cookies and local storage

  • We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember the 'remember me' choice on the login screen.
  • We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
